Terms and conditions of business

Dogs and cats must have a current vaccinations (last 12 months).Certificate to be produced at or prior to arrival as we need a copy on site.

Rabbits and small animals are exempt from mandatory vaccinations.

Kennel cough (Bordatella) vaccination is also compulsory for dogs, and should be given more than 2 weeks before coming in. The owner should understand, this infection can be caught anywhere, not just kennels, and must accept that it is not necessarily caught here, and there are many strains.

We are fully insured for cats and dogs, but we are NOT INSURED for any other animal, such as birds, rabbits, etc.

All animals should be regularly flea treated and wormed. If we find traces of flea droppings we will administer a treatment from the vet , the cost of which will be passed onto the customer.

We must be informed on arrival if your female dog is in season, or your think that the dog will come into season during her stay

Any collars/harnesses left on a dog, whilst in their room, are left on at the owners risk of being chewed, the same for any toys or bedding. Any large bedding items which have been chewed, will have to be taken home, as we do not have any disposal for these items, just a regular household bin.

Whilst every possible care and attention is given to each animal, we cannot be held responsible for loss from illness or other pre existing condition.

A veterinary surgeon will be called in if necessary, to which the bill may be passed onto the owner of pet, as in a pre existing illness, or if the pet is highly stressed and causes injury to itself.

Animals are accepted and released only during business hours, of 9am to 3pm, 4pm to 6pm Mon to Fri, and Sat Sun 9am to 1pm, unless by special arrangement, out of hours incur a £20 fee.(Limited times available due to insurance conditions)

Full boarding fees are payable for each day that the animals are here, including days of arrival and departure, a room is allocated for your pet for the arrival date, whether arrival is 9am or closing time.

When animals are collected before the agreed date, we reserve the right to charge for the full period booked. This will happen in April to October and Christmas. We often have people waiting for a space, which could have been sold to them, if we had known you were arriving for an early pick up.

Any dog which shows aggression or bites any member of staff, and is unruly, causing damage to our kennels, will not be allowed to board again.

The owner allows consent for us to take photos/ videos of animals playing and to upload to our closed group on Facebook, and for advertising media.
